0858540 AS-B Threaded Air Eliminator Air Scoop with Float Vent

Series AS-B Bronze Air Separators are used in commercial and residential, hydronic heating applications to separate air from water in the piping system.

It consists of a bronze body construction with tapings for a boiler-fill expansion tank, a 1/2 in. (15mm) FV4-M1 float vent, and a 1/2 in. (15mm) brass pipe plug.

Series AS-B comes standard with 1/2 in. (15mm) float vent. Available in AS-B-S (sweat connection). Series AS-B provides continuous purging and venting of air in the system when installed with Watts Series FV4-M1 float vent.

Horizontal mount only. It is ideal for use in radiant heat systems.

Maximum Pressure: 125psi (8.6 bar).
