This 1 IN FPT microbubble air separator is designed for efficient separation and elimination of entrained air in hydronic heating systems. This air separator features a durable brass body, high capacity DuoVent air vent assembly, corrosion-resistant coalescing media and 1/2 IN FPT bottom tapping for use with boiler fill fitting. The rugged corrosion-resistant polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) coalescing media withstands petroleum based cleaners, glycol anti-freeze and temperatures up to 240 degrees F in heating systems and methanol based anti-freeze solutions in ground-source heat pump loops. No minimum inlet/outlet piping length is required for proper operation and this air separator can be easily disassembled for inspection and cleaning.
